New game studio Deploy Starship has announced Starship Warbeasts, a cross-platform sci-fi card battler set to launch in 2026. Designed for PC, iOS, and Android, the game blends traditional card mechanics with JRPG-inspired combat and real-time strategic elements.

Unlike standard board-based card games, Starship Warbeasts introduces battles that unfold with live action, featuring mid-match upgrades, skill-based attacks, and interactive decision-making. Players can build squads from Warbeast cards, creatures sourced from ten unique planets, each capable of evolving during combat through level-up cards.

75 Million Warbeast Combinations at Launch

Deploy Starship reports over 75 million possible combinations available at launch. Each Warbeast is customizable through upgrades, spells, and items, offering a high ceiling for competitive play. The game is designed to reward preparation and adaptability, focusing on clever setups and skilled in-battle adjustments.

This deep customization aims to push beyond deck-building into squad optimization. Level-up mechanics trigger new powers mid-fight, turning passive stats into active strategic assets. Warbeasts are not static units but active participants that grow stronger over time.

Multiplayer Focus with Plans for Narrative Expansion

Multiplayer will be central to Starship Warbeasts, with early access playtests and demos planned before the full 2026 launch. While competitive play remains the main focus, Deploy Starship also confirmed a story-driven campaign is in development. The narrative will center on planetary conflicts and cosmic threats, with seasonal content planned for future updates.

The studio has positioned Starship Warbeasts to appeal to players who enjoy tactical combat, strategic planning, and science fiction themes. With real-time engagement layered on top of collectible card mechanics, the game targets a growing segment of hybrid game experiences in both traditional and Web3 circles.

Available on Steam and Official X Channel

Interested players can find more information on the Starship Warbeasts Steam page. Updates, previews, and announcements will also be shared through the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) channel.

As the GameFi sector evolves, Starship Warbeasts joins a growing list of projects that blend gameplay depth with accessibility. While there is no confirmed blockchain integration at this stage, the mechanics and customization options may appeal to crypto-native users exploring game-based ecosystems.
